The Wonderful Creative Things Fair

The last fair was a lot of fun, so many printed things to peruse...
And now we get the chance to do it all again at
The Wonderful Creative Things Fair!

I'm running with my space nerd tangent and my theme for the fair will be Space Junk!
I'm mixing media, sanding, priming, sanding, priming, sanding, priming and mixing ever more media to bring you my own wonderful creative things... wearable drawings and collage!

Yes. Space Junk Jewellery. Could anyone be as excited about this as I am?
You'll have to come along to find out!

Winter Salon at Lot 19

Sadly I couldn't make it up for the exhibition, but the lovely Sheridan told me it was a great show.

Follow the link  (right side menu) to her blog to see the beautiful skull print she made for the show, it is stunning!

New Exhibition Opens this Thursday 7th

My new exhibition 'Not Suitable for Owner Occupier' opens this coming Thursday from 6pm.

The show is in Pigment Black Gallery, so get ready for a whole lot of space with very dramatic lighting!
Pigment Gallery is on level 2 of the Nicholas Building, 37 Swanston st, Melbourne.
Check out www.pigmentgallery.com.au if you would like more information.

And please don't feel confused if you were under the impression that the opening was Wednesday 6th, I thought so too, but alas, it it Thursday 7th, yes Thursday the 7th (Which is far better that a Wednesday as it is closer to the weekend!)

Hope to see you there!

Here's what I'm looking forward to next month...

More amazing bugs from Sheridan Jones!
The trip to Castlemaine will be worth it even if I have to get the train!
I may have to buy a new friend for my gorgeous 'giant stag'...

And of course, the lovely Rona Green.
Her first solo in Melbourne for a long time.
Can't wait, even my dad's coming!

I'm also getting a bit excited about the St. Michaels' prize
because there is a 1 in 36 chance I'll be having dinner at Matteos
with Jones and Compton after the opening!

Show opening soon at Pigment Gallery

Almost ready to exhibit new work at Pigment Gallery from Thursday 7th of July.
I'm very excited about these ones!
Hope to see you at the show x
